Manufactured in 1889. Completely rebuilt in 1985. Appraised
by Steinway at $35,800. Rebuilding included new pin block, new sound board, new strings, new Steinway hammers, new action. Rebuilding was done by A & C Pianocraft. New York City. Action was done by Edwin Court, Lincoln Center specialist. This is a rare, beautiful instrument with a classic Steinway sound. Extremely desirable instrument for a musician. Condition is excellent. Since being rebuilt in 1985 piano has been maintained continuously by musician-owner. Has original finish, not refinished. Finish is Ebony. Legs are round Victorian, typical style of Steinway Grand. Last tuned in October, 2005 by Steinway techician.
